A NETWORKING TRIPS FOR COLDCASE/MISSING FAMILIES-Driving with Britt on Route 66 visits Chicago 7/7 to 7/13

My 25th Caravan to Catch a Killer tour-Driving with Britt on Route 66 has now added 1000 miles to my 350000 miles through 48 States on 24 previous tours. Contacts in Tulsa, Joplin, Springfield MO, and a great meeting of multiple families in St. Louis (that will now meet as a group) have made the trip rewarding. After such success in the multi-family group meeting in St. Louis , the lack of interaction in the Bloomington/Normal/Springfield area with two events-yesterday 7/5 and today  7/6 of Networking at Panera, had no participants, I have learned this is a hard path and not every city, not every person feels safe to come to the events. I want people to take care of themselves. That is why I keep doing this.

But as I age, (now 71) I just have one request. I have been doing CARAVANS for 19 years.  350000 miles thru 48 States on 24 previous tours. With as much as I covered, I still will never  reach all the families that a National news show on CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX or any other National coverage would. I live by the pod casts we get but many families do not know of these. National news could help publicize that. There are Coldcase families, missing families and more sitting on the shadows of every city in the USA. When these famous murders and missing get coverage, these millions of families ache in the silence of their stories.

*******Tell them how cold case/missing families travelling this path of unknown when something happens, is, on the 100th anniversary of Route 66,  like the building of Route 66; face with a need for connection, facing roadblocks, trials and tribulations , more loss but resilience that leads them to connect

Lets help them!!!

National news tell me they have millions of families writing them and they can't tell every story but when multiple write them about the same story, they think it will sell.

SOOOOOOOO Please send just a few sentences to any of the National shows (listed above or you know of). You can find them by searching on FB Instagram X, Youtube and more

Then ask five of your friends to do so, and ask them to ask five of their friends. National news picks stories they think people are interested in an d often won't do the stories where it is only the family contacting them.

YOU CAN WRITE JUST A FEW SENTENCES.  Are you aware of the mother who has traveled 350000 miles through 48 States on 25 tours, all self funding with four different cars, each wrapped with her murdered daughters picture and Caravan to catch a killer on all sides. While started to help solve her daughters murder, for at least 10 years it has been used to network with cold case / missing families, to help with advocating their cases, telling their stories, helping them find resources, helping them to create their own support network.
PLEASE HELP !!  WE NEED NATIONAL MEDIA, not just local) NATIONAL MEDIA TO  ABOUT AND WHY THE CARAVAN TO CATCH A KILLER TOUR EXISTS TO HELP ALL COLDCASE/MISSING US FAMILIES TO CONNECT, THIS TIME ON ROUTE 66!!!

Caravan to Catch a Killer still in Bloomington/Normal Springfield Illinois area!!!! Meet me and the mission to help local coldcase/Missing

Meeting today in Normal/Bloomington IL. at 4pm at Panera on Veterans Parkway. Bring your cold case or missing story, bring your story of how you are an advocate. I will be there for two hours. If you can't meet then , come to ---Panera on South Dirksen Parkway Monday at 10am---. We may have your local  channel 20 wanting to talk to families. There is no cost, just time. I travel cross country each year to help cold case families connect, find advocacy, find connection to other families learn about law passage that helps homicide, missing and any type of cold case  survivors. I have traveled over 350000 miles through 48 States, now on 25 tours. This 25th is  called "Driving with Britt on Route 66-Mothers load on the Mother Road because the building of Route66 is a metaphor , a symbol of the building of resilience for cold case families and representative of how after trials, tribulations, loss, hardship and roadblocks, a connection gets made between families hidden in the shadow of the US.

WE HEAD TO CHICAGO ON TUESDAY!!!

Driving with Britt on Route 66--Mothers load on the Mother Road

First few days on the 25th Caravan to Catch a Killer tour!!! This four to five week phase from Tulsa to Chicago on Route 66 . Meeting, (hopefully) with cold case families-Murder, missing, abducted, etc along the road. I have covered 350000 miles through 48 States on now 25 tours, first only seeking attention to our murder when in the first 5 years we turned over hundreds of suspects with no match to our DNA or other evidence.

Yet, as I traveled I met more and more families impacted by this never ending loss. Thus over the last 10 years, the tours have been more about connecting to other families, giving them voice, helping them create support networks and learning about laws that can help survivors and their cases!!!!

Why Route 66? The building of Route 66 was, at times called the culture of calamity. This was due to the trials and tribulations, roadblocks, losses, how before thee road it was separation of families and during the building, separation of families.

The path of cold case families is similar but it is our connection that brings voices across the US. Contact me here or on Facebook.com/mom.missing.brittany or through therapoet@aol.com. I am also a trauma focused psychologist for more than 35 years way before the loss of Brittany but I still had to go through the loss, the grief, the anger and all the emotions but I knew I had to walk towards it not away. I also knew, though hard, I had to live because of the loss, in honor of the loss and in spite of the loss.

Everyone I meet on the road has a place in my heart.

In Springfield MO through Friday, then St. Louis and the Chicago area but contact me where ever you are!

CALLING ALL NATIONAL COLD CASE INVESTIGATIVE GROUPS

I will be meting with TPD in month or less about their past refusal to allow any cold case vetted national groups to look at our 17 year coldcase. You can call Detective division-918 596-9133 or the Chief's section 918 5969328-or Detective Stiles. Please state you re doing this on your own. They seem to react to my requests asa me just being a mother of a 17 year old cold casae, being unreasonable about alsking for a new set of eyers . I was told by the current detective, "they are actively researching the casae and reviewing old DATA AND DON'T NEED COLD CASE ASSISTANCE.

COVID19 and the murder of my 19 year old daughter in 2004-Still unsolved

The COVID has been hard but I m trying to get back to her murder. Two new podcasts will be heard in the next month. CASEFILE from Australia is Next weekend June 13. I will post it here. We had to stop our reward fund push and I had to stop my CARAVAN TO CATCH A KILLER TOURS. I have completed 20 through 250000 miles through 48 states with more than 300 regional reporters sharing our story. Still no National news and now more than ever we need you to write, email, call National news about us. Thinking of getting an RV and wrapping it if hotels are too chancey. As many know, our main DNA profile led us to someone who is most likely not our killer. This was thru CeCe Moore's analysis!!Thus the parabon Phenotype picture of a Caucasian male is no longer valid. It could be anyone. We have to go over all the old evidence and suspects of all races now.

20TH CARAVAN TO CATCH A KILLER HEADING HOME-SILENCE IS TOO MUCH

Sadly, after being in the quiet media of Missoula Montana, I have decided to head home. A week without stories makes it too costly to stay in hotels and travel farther from OK. Thanks to Cheyenne and Casper Wyoming for making our stories heard across the State. Thanks to the people in Butte and Missoula who saw the car and noted they did, even without your media responding to multiple queries. Not necessarily about our story, but please don't forget all the individual murders and the families that have lost loved ones, have loved ones missing, have cold cases. They don't get the attention that the mass shootings do. and they are as bad a loss. If you know any survivor of homicide or missing, give them a hug and tell them you care. If you know any survivor of homicide or missing share their case across the US, send it to me at therapoet@aol.com. The silence is a loud echo that reverberates inside the heart. IF YOU SEE ME ON THE ROAD, PLEASE EMAIL, CALL, SEND A LETTER TO NATIONAL MEDIA. I NEED IT MORE THAN EVER NOW
