I try to do this on my own even when I go into debt for a year after returning from my CARAVAN TO CATCH A KILLER tours-(5 years 11 tours-> 68000 miles thru 46 States. $5.00 will pay for a gallon of gas--30 miles down the road. Help us find Brittany's killer. Please help us to be able to teach people about laws that put our loved ones at risk. WHAT IF THIS WAS YOUR DAUGHTER?

Thanks to all on the 3 weeks across the northwest. Thanks to stories in Wyoming and Washington and people on the road who acknowledged us. Sadly stories had to sTop about a week ago due to devastating news from Tulsa about case. Can't say yet but will announce. All I can do is drive back as quick as I can. DEVASTATED

  1. I became familiar with Brittany's murder just now, August 2019, after reading an article in the Tulsa World regarding the most recent activity surrounding her case involving DNA-related suspect.

'We identified him through an investigation and interviewed him,” Majors said. “Through information we received from him and corroboration we got for his story, we are no longer looking at the suspect based on the forensic composite drawing that we released.' - Detective Eddie Majors. I don't quite understand his comment. It is my understanding the suspect Majors is referring to is the one whose DNA was found at the scene. I' m not aware of the type of DNA which was found at the scene, or if it is even public knowledge. Nevertheless, DNA was indeed found and it was identified as belonging to the man in question. Correct? Majors stated they were "no longer looking at the suspect based on the composite drawing" which they released. Is the composite drawing irrelevant now? Can the DNA still be matched to another male (i.e.a relative of this former suspect)? My apologies ahead of time if I am missing something obvious.
Last but not least, my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you, Maggie, and your family. I cannot imagine enduring such a tremendous, inexplicable loss. May God keep you close and I hope you know what an amazing job you are doing to keep Brittany's memory alive and to find her justice and the answers you, and she, so deserve. Your daughter, Brittany, did not in vain. The hard-fought efforts & progress you are making are touching many lives and surely changing the minds of lawmakers. May you accomplish everything and more you have set out to do. Thank you for protecting the innocent victims and continuing the fight for your daughter. God bless you! My prayers are with you and may justice be served sooner than later.

  2. Edit:
    Dear Maggie,
In regard to my previous comment and inquiry, I am gathering more information from media. I think I found some of my answers with further reading & research. However, now I am curious if this former suspect was ever questioned before now? Ever questioned at the time of Brittany's murder? How is a 15 year old alibi corroborated with 100% certainty? I'm not advocating the prosecution of innocent people, but was he permanently eliminated from the suspect pool?

I can only imagine how discouraged you must feel in light of this recent discovery. Please don't ever lose hope - PLEASE - bc WE will not ever give up our support of you. You are an incredibly strong woman & mother, so please don't allow this disappointment devastate you to your core, as hopefully, another door will open with the closure of this one. I am praying something good will come out of this setback which will bring you closer to finding the monster.
